Health Ministries Association is available to teach health education classes and provide ministry at reunions and retreats. HMA
seeks to help people increase their knowledge and encourage them in their
efforts to take charge of their health, making it part of their stewardship of
"wholeness". The only cost to the retreat or reunion is to provide "room and
board" and in some cases reimbursement for transportation, depending on distance
and time of year.
Topics are tailored to meet the needs and interests of the audience utilizing PowerPoint, videos, music, handouts and fun hands-on activities. Possible subjects include: depression; nutrition; relationships; physical health issues such as cancer, heart disease, stroke, and diabetes and updates on numerous diet plans. Classes for children and youth are also available teaching healthy eating, exercise, and other health habits.
If you would like to know more or would like to make arrangements for a
"Health Minister" to come, please
contact the HMA office.
