The Health
Ministries Association supports U.S. based medical-dental teams to supplement
on-site health care at the La Buena Fe Clinic near Horconcitos, Honduras.
Health Teams hold medical clinics at La
Buena Fe Clinic and surrounding villages in Honduras.
1. Provide teaching opportunities for patients and clinic
staff
2. Supply the pharmacy and stock
3. Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients
with difficult health conditions
4. Deploy one day medical/dental teams to remote villages
5. Follow-up and provide specialty care for patients
with chronic illnesses
6. Promote disease prevention actions
Nurse practitioners, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, family medicine
physicians, nurses, internal medicine physician, pediatricians, dentists,
dental assistants, Spanish-English translators, pre professional students,
occupational therapist, physical therapists,
and other allied health professionals as needed.
